Understanding Yourself

Body, Trauma & Nervous System
Understanding ourselves begins with curiosity.
Our bodies and nervous systems are constantly responding to our experiences, relationships and environment. Sometimes these responses help us feel connected and alive. At other times, we may find ourselves overwhelmed, disconnected, anxious or stuck in familiar patterns.
These are not simply personal failures or weaknesses. They may reflect ways our nervous systems and protective parts have learned to respond to life’s challenges.
Here, I share reflections, insights and resources to support a deeper understanding of trauma, nervous system regulation, embodied awareness and the many parts of ourselves.
Not to give you another way to fix yourself, but to offer a space for curiosity, understanding and possibility.
The resources we seek may already be within us.
