What I collect
• When you contact me: your name, email address and anything you choose to share in your message.
• If we work together: contact details, appointment and payment records, and brief session notes. These may include information about your health and wellbeing, which is treated as special category data.
• When you visit this website: basic technical data and cookies, handled by my website provider, Wix.
• If you subscribe to the monthly letter: your name and email address, used only to send it. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in each email.
Why I use it
To reply to your enquiry, arrange and provide sessions, keep appropriate professional records, and meet legal and professional obligations. I process health information only to provide therapeutic support, with your consent and under strict confidentiality.
Confidentiality and sharing
I never sell your information. I do not share it without your consent, except where the law requires it or where there is a serious risk of harm to you or others. I may discuss my work in clinical supervision, always without identifying you.
Storage and security
Your information is kept securely by trusted providers (Wix for the website, Google Workspace for email). Only I have access to client records.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to working together are deleted within 6 months. Client records are kept for 7 years after our work ends, in line with professional guidance, and then securely deleted.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or ask me to limit how it is used. To do so, email damian@somacreativa.com. If you are unhappy with how your data is handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
